Three young women who vanished about 10 years ago in Ohio, United States have been found and are in hospital in a fair condition.

I caught the end of this video on TV. Loved the little I saw so much that i went looking for it online.
Phyno is an indigenous (Igbo) Rap/hiphop artiste. Born Azubuike Chibuzo Nelson, he is from Anambra state in Nigeria and is the 4th child in a family of five. He is both a producer and an artiste and has been in the music industry for more than nine years. He says Jay-Z, Kanye West, M.I and Naeto C are artistes that influence him the most. Baby Sold on Facebook

Mother reunited with her child

A three-day-old baby was recently sold on Facebook.

A businessman in India paid 800,000 rupees, or approximately $14,749, for the child through a deal arranged on facebook (photos of the baby were sent). The kidnapped baby was first sold (by his grandfather who had informed his daughter that the baby had died) to a hospital nurse and her accomplice who were involved in a child trafficking ring, for 45,000 rupees ($850).

According to police, Khan sold the baby because he wanted to arrange a second marriage for his daughter. The girl’s dad believed she would not find a new husband if she was already raising a child. The child’s father abandoned his family before the birth.

The mother complained to police after becoming suspicious of her father's new wealth.

Abigail and Brittany Hensel: Together Forever.

I came across this amazing story of Abigail Loraine Hensel and Brittany Lee Hensel, the 23 year old cojoined twins. 

Each of the girls has a separate head, but their bodies are joined though each twin has a separate heart, stomach, spine and spinal cord.

The identical, conjoined twins from Minnesota, in the United States, have graduated from Bethel University and are setting out on their career as primary school teachers with an emphasis on maths. (You can do all things!)

Desmond Tutu in Hospital for Infection

Nobel Peace Prize laureate Archbishop Desmond Tutu checked into a South African hospital Wednesday for treatment of a persistent infection, his foundation announced.Tutu, 81, also will undergo tests at the hospital in Cape Town to determine the cause of the infection, the Desmond and Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation said. Details of the infection were not released. Tutu was successfully treated in the United States for prostate cancer in 1997.Here's wishing him a quick recovery.

Prof. Chinua Achebe, to be Laid to Rest on May 23. Nigerian Embassy in the U.S to hold Memorial

The remains of the late renowned author, Prof. Chinua Achebe, will be buried on May 23. The announcement was made by Gov. Peter Obi, Chairman of the South East Governor’s Forum.
Also, the Nigerian Embassy in the U.S. and the Africa Society of the National Summit on Africa will on April 25 hold a celebration of life for the late Nigerian literary icon. The Ambassador Andrew Young lecture series on Africa would present ”The legacy of Chinua Achebe: In Memoriam.” at the event which is scheduled to take place at the Nigeria Embassy in Washington.

Reese Witherspoon Arrested on Disorderly Conduct Charge

One of my favorite actresses Reese Witherspoon and her husband Jim Toth were jailed for disorderly conduct after allegedly resisting the orders of a police officer in Atlanta, Georgia, on Friday night. Her husband James Toth who was driving, failed to pass a sobriety test.
The police officer's report said: "Mrs Witherspoon asked, 'Do you know my name?' I answered: 'No, I don't need to know your name', I then added, 'right now'. Mrs Witherspoon stated: 'You're about to find out who I am'." (lolz. She must have been very drunk!)
The report further quoted Witherspoon as telling the officer: "You're going to be on national news." 

Reese, 37, and Toth, 42 have since been released on bail.

Senior Lecturer Stabbed to Death in Kogi Poly

This is so sad.

A senior lecturer, with the Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Mr Anthony Abimaje was stabbed to death by a group of suspected students cultists on Friday night.
An eye witness disclosed that the late lecturer, was on his way to pick up his wife who runs a shop in the campus when he ran into the scene of a fight between two rival cult groups. He was stabbed in the stomach by the feuding students.The late lecturer who has been described as a born-again lecturer, died before medical help could reach him.The institution has been closed down indefinitely following the incident.

Boston Marathon "Bomber" Captured!!

 

The teenage suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings is in custody after being found bleeding and hiding in a boat in a homeowner's backyard. He is currently at Boston's Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, hospital spokeswoman Kelly Lawman said.

Faulty Chinese Condoms Seized in Ghana

More than 110 million Chinese-made condoms have been seized in Ghana after laboratory tests revealed they were faulty, Ghanaian officials have said.
They were found to have holes in them, burst easily and they were also not adequately lubricated.

Now we know what is responsible for China's insanely high population. Gbam!
